“Alarm” is a brilliantly written song with a message that I am sure all women can relate to. Anne Marie tells the story of a love that she thought was true. However, she soon found that the man she loved had other intentions. Throughout the song she recounts the times where she should have noticed signs of his misdeeds aka the alarms.
Anne Marie’s voice is filled with passion and the steady drum beat and roots reggae vibe bring out the emotion of the song. Although “Alarm” was released as a pop single, this version is an amazing reggae cover by DJ Wysh Remix.
