Jamaican singer-songwriter, Nyla rose to international chart success when her solo career began to catch momentum in 2015. In that year, she secured a featured single on one of the top albums of the year, Peace Is The Mission by Major Lazer.
Better known to her fans as one half of the sister duo, Brick and Lace, Nyla began her journey as a solo act in 2014. She saw mild success with the group after releasing only 2 singles off their debut album, Love Is Wicked. The album was released in various European countries and leaked onto the Internet.
Nyla secured writing credits with the songwriting group, Bloodline. This group was a collective of herself and 3 other sisters.
The remix to “Light It Up” was released in Europe as the official single version. The track featured additional vocals by UK-based artiste, Fuse ODG.
